The Santee National Golf Club in South Carolina is a great place to play golf. The course is open and forgiving, with a links style, but without heavy fescue. The course is well-maintained, and the greens were in good condition. The fairways are wide and forgiving and the roughs are manageable. There are a lot of bunkers which are well placed and very well maintained. The greens are large and undulating. The layout of the course is wonderful and it’s a great place to practice your game. I thought the par 3s were challenging, but with the right club selection, you can make some birdies. The staff at Santee National is friendly and helpful. The pro shop was stocked with lot of good gear and apparel. The practice facilities include a driving range and chipping/putting green. Overall, I thought it was an excellent golf course and would definitely play it again.
